What does a porta potty cost in Grand Prairie?
Here are the porta potty rental prices we quote from, drawn from real market pricing, so you can see how much portable toilet rental runs before you commit. A standard porta potty is the workhorse, and the deluxe flushable unit sits above it. An ADA accessible unit is priced separately because the build is bigger. A restroom trailer is its own animal. If you want to rent a porta john or a full trailer, the price for portable toilet rental depends most on the unit type.
| Unit | Day | Week | Month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $150 | $200 | $200 |
| Deluxe flushable | $250 | $290 | - |
| ADA accessible | $200 | $240 | - |
| Restroom trailer | $800 | $1,397 | - |
Delivery, service and pickup are broken out below. For a full walk-through of the portable toilet rental options, or to just request a quote, start here on the home page.
What are the delivery, service and pickup fees?
We list these separately so nothing hides in the number. Delivery drops the unit. Service is the weekly clean and pump. Pickup hauls it away. A weekly cleaning follows the ANSI/PSAI Z4.3 baseline of one visit per week for up to 10 users on a 40 hour week.
| Fee | Day | Week | Month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delivery | $100 | $120 | $172 |
| Service | $60 | $100 | $150 |
Pickup is billed with the delivery leg on most single-unit jobs. A monthly rental folds service into the rate, which is why the per-day price looks higher for short jobs. See the full cost breakdown logic mirrored on our dumpster page too. Weekend delivery runs a premium, typically around $200.
Why do porta potty prices vary so much?
Location, duration and unit type. That is most of what drives portable toilet rental costs. A short event rental that needs a Saturday drop and a Sunday pickup costs more per day than a month-long construction site placement, because the truck rolls twice for one weekend. A weekend standard unit runs around $250.
Distance matters. We are central to a lot of the metro, so a job in Duncanville 8.5 miles southeast is a shorter roll than one in Bedford 18.9 miles northwest. The deluxe flushable unit costs more than a standard because it carries a flush pump and sink. Access counts too. If the truck cannot get close, placement gets harder and slower. Read the placement guide before delivery day.

How much does a restroom trailer cost?
More than a single unit, and worth it for weddings, film and higher-headcount events. A restroom trailer starts around the daily figure in the table above and climbs with stall count. A 2 stall trailer suits a mid-size party. A 4 stall or 8 stall trailer covers a big festival or concert crowd.
Full-weekend event trailer pricing runs higher, in the $2,000 range for a weekend booking, which is why we quote each one by hand. A luxury restroom trailer with finishes costs the most. If you need running water on site, a shower trailer is a separate build. For the whole picture, see restroom trailer cost. Trailers also need a level pad and, often, a temporary power pole or generator feed.

What moves the number on your quote?
Headcount and hours. OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) sets construction ratios: one toilet for 20 workers or fewer, then a toilet seat and urinal per 40 workers above that. Get the count right and you avoid renting units you do not need. Our how many do I need guide runs the math, and the OSHA requirements page cites the table.
Add-ons stack. A handwashing station or a portable sink is a line item. Under 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2), washing facilities need soap and towels or a dryer, and sanitizer alone does not satisfy it. Where crews apply herbicides or insecticides, OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) requires washing facilities, so a hand sanitizer station will not cover that job. Duration, season and a winter placement can nudge the price too.

Do you need a permit, and does that cost extra?
Maybe, and we cannot quote a city fee we have not verified. If your unit sits on private property with truck access, you usually do not need anything from the city. If it goes in the public right of way, a street or a sidewalk, that placement needs confirming with the City of Grand Prairie before we drop it.
We have not verified Grand Prairie permit rules or fees, so we will not name an ordinance number here. Our permit requirements page explains the general process, and the rental checklist covers what to confirm before delivery. For units near an ADA route, ADA Standards 213.2 requires at least 5 percent of clustered units, and never fewer than one, to be accessible. See ADA restroom requirements.
How much is a porta potty for a weekend event?
For a one or two day event, budget the weekend rate, not the daily. A weekend standard unit sits around $250, and weekend delivery runs near $200. That is the honest short-term math: the truck comes twice for a two-day window, so the per-day cost is higher than a monthly job.
For a wedding, a golf tournament or a county fair, we size the order to your headcount and hours. A marathon or race needs units spread along the course. A backyard home renovation usually rents a single standard unit by the week. For anything urgent, our emergency porta potty line moves fast, same as our emergency septic service.
What does a fair quote look like? Three scenarios.
Scenario one: a home remodel in Grand Prairie. One standard unit for a month, delivery and monthly service included in the rate. That is the cheapest way to keep a porta john on site, and the simplest port o john rental to budget. Pair it with a 10 yard dumpster for debris.
Scenario two: a 30-worker jobsite in Cedar Hill, 9.9 miles southeast. Two standard units plus a handwashing station, monthly, meeting OSHA 1926.51(c)(1). Add a 20 yard dumpster and temporary fence.
Scenario three: a 200-guest wedding needs a 4 stall trailer for the weekend, plus one ADA unit with a 36 inch accessible route per ADA Standards 403.5.1. A standard unit stands about 92 inches tall and holds a 60 to 70 gallon tank, so plan the pad accordingly. Serving Mansfield 13.5 miles southwest and DeSoto 14.2 miles southeast too.
How much does a porta potty rental cost per day?
A standard unit is about $150 a day in Grand Prairie, before delivery and pickup. That is roughly how much does portable toilet rental cost for the basic unit. Daily rates are the highest per-day option because the truck rolls for a short window. See our per-day pricing page for the full breakdown by unit type.
Is a monthly rental cheaper than renting by the week?
Per day, yes. A monthly standard rate folds weekly service into one number, so a long job costs less per day than a short one. Weekly and monthly standard both land near $200, but the month buys far more days. See monthly rental.
What is included in the rental price?
The unit, delivery, weekly service and pickup are the four parts, and we list them separately so nothing hides. Service follows the ANSI/PSAI Z4.3 weekly baseline for up to 10 users. When you rent a portable restroom for more users, the job needs more frequent service. Port o potties for rent by the day, week or month all include these four parts.
Does a handwashing station cost extra?
Yes, it is a separate line item. Under 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2) washing facilities need soap and towels, and sanitizer alone will not meet that rule. See handwashing requirements for the standard, or add a portable sink to your order.
How much does an ADA porta potty cost?
An ADA accessible unit runs about $230 a day or $185 a week in Grand Prairie. The larger footprint gives a 60 inch turning circle per ADA Standards 304.3.1 and a 32 inch door per ADA Standards 404.2.3. Details on the ADA unit page.
Can I rent just one porta potty?
Yes. A single standard unit for a home project is one of our most common orders. There is no minimum count. Delivery and pickup still apply, so a monthly booking spreads that cost over more days than a weekend one does.
Do you serve towns near Grand Prairie?
